Clubs and Activities

Extra-curricular clubs and activities

All pupils at The Whitstable School are encouraged to actively participate in a range of different clubs from the very start of their time with us.

Teachers provide a range of activities designed to appeal to all tastes. Activities include STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths), a film club, school show, debating clubs, football, music and trampolining. If there is something you are interested in, just suggest it, and we’ll see if we can accommodate your interests. This year, pupils suggested a robotics club - which has been a big success.

Club details are posted up around the school and parents and carers can see what is on offer on the website here.

Music Tuition

If you want to learn a musical instrument we have tutors who come into school and give private lessons (paid for).  From guitar and piano to voice lessons we offer a varied selection.  For more information speak to Mrs Freeman or email her via tws_admin.

These lessons are held during the school day and the lesson times will vary, to ensure you don't miss the same class every week.

School Shows and Productions

Our drama, dance, and music departments put on regular shows throughout the year.  All pupils are encouraged to get involved or audition.

From singing, dancing and acting to stage production, sets and lighting, there really is something for everyone to get involved with.
